God has blessed us greatly over the last fourteen months while we were able to work with a lovely couple, Don and Lola Winans. Last month we said goodbye to our friends and coworkers as they returned back to the US to report to their supporters and seek for the next stage in life and ministry.
Don and Lola arrived here in Australia on February 15, 1985 and they have been serving the Lord for over twenty-nine years. We had the privilege of serving with them for the last leg of that journey. God used these two servants of His to do so much for us. They helped us when we visited for a survey trip. They worked so hard to see us get our permanent residency visa, and then to help us find a place to rent and a car to drive. When we arrived they loved us like family. The lessons we learned about the Australian culture and way of life were priceless, and the ministry advice was so precious. We are truly blessed by our heavenly Father.
Now that the Winans have left, we are moving forward by God's grace to continue the work at Grace Baptist Church. Don led a commissioning service for Mark on their last Sunday at Grace. Please pray for Don and Lola as they will be traveling across the US to report, and continue to uphold us before the throne for the work that He has called us to.
